Jamie was wonderful to work with. He communicated with us often and was prompt in responding to questions or requests. Overall, the loan process was pretty painless, and much simpler than I expected as a first-time homebuyer.
I was kept aware of status and issues. Though the income statements needed were baffling to me due to the amount of cash I held in my accounts. Maybe Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae need to revise some requirements???
I wasn't sure what ai was getting into with an out of town lender for my second house. Pennymac was easy to communicate with and they were clear with what they needed. Their system kept generating a particular disclosure that I had already signed, but outside of that everything was easy to upload and sign. Everyone on the MAC team were polite and respectful of what my experience was and were helpful in navigating options.

James was given a contract that had a 2000 credit from the buying agent. He lost it..when the new one was supplied; James failed to update my contract. I was late and needed an extension. This cost me an additional $1800. I called and another agent who was supposed to "look into applying additional credit to make up for the mistake". That never happened. So no I'm not happy with the outcome. PennyMac cost me an additional $4000 out of pocket. I still have repairs to make and now no money for it. I have a broken air... read more
