My current Cl580 is leaking. I figured it lasted ... My current Cl580 is leaking. I figured it lasted 13 years, I would buy another one. They have changed the design some - not sure it I will have to redo the plumbing or not. I wont know for a while because I ordered it 2 days shipping and it came in 10 days later. The box and filter was damaged.

This will not easily replace older model I ordered this to replace an existing Jandy CL580 that had a crack in the bottom. I wasn't able to just replace the bottom because Jandy discontinued the part. Obviously there was a problem with cracking. The old filter was only six years old from installation date and the crack started the fourth year. So we receive the new filter and find out that we can't easily hook it up.
