    Heater is performing as predicted. Low noise from the blower of the heater. I am using this as a supplement to the 137,000 BTU heat pump . I connected the Heat pump in front of the gas heater. I set the Temperature of the gas heater to 90 degrees max so it cuts out when the pool reaches about 80 degrees and allows the heat pump to continue. ( So the gas unit shuts down when the temperature of the pool + the increase in water temperature when it goes through the heat pump hits 90 degrees. ) The heat pump alone raise... read more

    Its too soon to really tell but I am hoping that the Jandy JXi1400P will ultimately warrant five stars. I love the smaller footprint from the propane heater I replaced. Also seems quieter. No noticeable difference in how long it takes to heat my pool and spa. So far so good...

    Lasted 16 months than broke. Jandy says broke due to “water chemistry” thus voids the warranty. We had the pool professionally serviced the whole time and literally probably used the heater about 20 times solely to heat our hot tub. We were quoted over $4,000 to replace.

    I purchased a jandy pool and spa heater thinking they are the best , it’s still under warranty , it stopped working and after many attempts to get warranty service, all I get is no response If you buy this product , you are on your own , good luck , I would not recommend a warranty that is non existent Tim Mullen Unsatisfied customer

    The product failed in less than 12 months. I emailed , called corporate headquarters, texted the district sales representative all with no results toward covering the cost to repair my unit, but was assured it would be handled. It wasn’t. I paid an additional $1500 out of pocket for the repairs and Jandy went silent. Completely unreputable company and a product that I learned via reviews had a known defect. Never again Jandy.
