Five Stars Super quiet and easy to set up.
Flawless operation for 3 years and counting. Bought in 2013 to replace a single speed pump from 2006. Pump has worked without a single problem since installation. Quiet, and in 3 years has more then recouped all additional cost over a single speed unit. Pool power consumption is down over 50%. Great pump to replace an old 2HP Great pump to replace an old 2HP, single speed pump. The electric bill savings was so significant that this will pay for itself in about 7 months! I should have done this years ago! Reasonably easy to install, and super quiet! NOTE: when the description indicates that this pump can be controlled by your PDA, it fails to mention that the PDA needs to be version 4.0 or newer. Big DIFFERENCE This pump is amazing!!!! You can not go wrong. I just upgraded to this pump and I can see a big different on my Energy bill!!! Your pool pump is one of the most used and most expensive equipment operating on your home. If you do not have a good pump (like I did) you will be spending a lot of money! My old pump running at full speed took as much Energy as my 5ton AC unit, refrigerator in the washer combined! And it was a Jandy 2008 model. Most powerful, reliable and quietest pump I have ever had This pool pump replaced a three-year-old variable speed unit by another manufacturer--one that was quite noisy and had two costly breakdowns. When the Jandy ePump arrived, I saw right away that this was both larger and heavier than the pump I was replacing. It is well built! great product seems quieter than our previous pump and is keeping our 29,000 20x40 pool clean easily. the variable speeds are great to control normal filtering of water flow at a slower speed compared to a higher speed when the pool cleaner is engaged.
Not happy I paid a professional to install this pump and it was faulty would start. Taking to long to get my refund.
