Jefferson Road Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing. They treat all animals, even the ones most people see as disposable, with the utmost care. I took my mouse Oreo there because he was sick and Dr. Rigsby treated him with such gentleness and care. Oreo was very old, and on the day of his follow-up, he passed away. Dr. Rigsby was so understanding and nice while I cried over a mouse, who was my fur friend. The vet tech brought me a box with a drawing of an angel Oreo to put him in to bury him when I got home. I have taken my pets to Jefferson Road for years. They have always been wonderful to them. I just had my baby kitty Jordy Nelson there for surgery and they were wonderful to both he and I. I highly recommend them for birds, dogs and cats.
For nearly 40 years, my beloved four-legged companions have found loving, compassionate and healing care at JRAH. Whether they be show dogs or ‘just’ pets, they have received the best treatment they could ever receive, right here in Kokomo. RecommendedMost recent ‘semi-serious visits from April 2021. . Stone had eye surgery (he’s 11 now). We had a superb experience as always. Dr Corey Swart and Hayley worked on him and sent him home a little groggy but with all his issues cared for.
