Personable, low key and always takes time to listen to your concerns. I have had him do both knees and one hip. No issues, no problems. Increased my mobility a lot.
I had a follow up appointment following my second total knee replacement. Dr Akeson offered clear information about my surgery and offered encouragement about my recovery. He is kind and gentle in his approach. I can do activities that i was afraid were long gone. He helped me find the way back to healthy mobility.
Dr. Akeson clearly explained procedure, frequently asked about any discomfort during bilateral thumb injections done for rheumatoid arthritis every 3 months. Did not seem rushed during appt and answered all questions.
Very little waiting for Dr or testing. Convenient to have X-ray and mri in same building. Dr took his time and explained everything and then answered questions! So glad we found him!
Dr. Akeson is one of the best. He is caring, compassionate and takes time to explain things. I didn’t feel rushed. I’ve found the orthopedic physician I’m staying with.

he’s been my orthopedist for 23 years. He’s very patient gentle he explains everything well. he repairs what needs repaired but doesn’t go overboard and charge you for extra things that don’t need to be done. He’s such a soft-spoken wonderful man I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
