My steak & sushi was okay. It was just extremely cold steak. My wife had the Steak and loved it. Our server could’ve honestly been better. He came by once to fill up my wife’s water. After he dropped off our food and never returned. We both sat there thirsty. He walked past our table looked at it and then kept going. Had to flag him down 3 times to simply get the check. The food and the service were very good. It is a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant was had very few customers when we were there. We were sitting near the kitchen and it was very noisy with the staff chatting very loudly and inappropriately. I’m sure if the restaurant were crowded that would not be an issue, but without the sounds of other diners it was pretty annoying. Food left a lot to be desired. The beets in the salad were burnt as well as the apple pie. Our server was great but when asked to move to a booth they said not it was reserved for a party of 5 and then 5 min later they sat a party of 4 just like us. Overall not a good experience.

Have been coming to Joeys in Canada for years. When this one opened last year, my husband and I came and we liked it a lot. I ordered my usual- the baja fish tacos and asked for my usual substitution: remove the shrimp and add more cod. It was no issue. The food was great. Never was this an issue in Canada either. I placed my order yesterday and the lovely lady taking our order stated they can no longer make that substitution. I was shocked. Thats my favorite thing on the menu! The restaraunt is not the same as it was when it opened. Portions are small. The servers were all new 20 dollar coupon tells you restaraunt is not doing well. In my opinion! Not going back. Joeys in LA is superb. Here, i don’t know what happened.

We enjoy Joey. Our server was certainly nice, but she had to request the bartender to visit our table to ensure my drink order was correct. Also, the server dumped an entire glass of ice into the lap of my partner and all over our table. She was embarrassed, but made no offer or concession for doing so. The food is always good albeit small portions. I was disappointed nothing was done for the glass of ice issue.

Been there twice now. Only went second time to give another chance. Hard to believe they are even in business with service that bad. Servers totally clueless and awful. Not giving them a 3rd chance.
