Came here for my birthday celebration as I’ve really been wanting to try this place out. Everyone was super nice. And the place was not busy. But for some reason, the service was incredibly slow. I do think that the waiter might’ve gotten a couple of tables seated at one time. But we had to track him down a couple of times just to get a refill of water. Luna greeting us, she was super nice! They gave us a complementary sparkling wine at the entrance. We loved this place, the food was amazing! The team is really nice. Chanel was a great server!

This was my second time at JOEY Aventura. The first time was great, but my most recent visit had room for improvement. The quality of the food is not the issue - however, it seems that service is lacking. While our waitress was nice, there were multiple instances of deliberate upselling without telling us, leaving us feeling “tricked.” For example, we asked for water and she said flat or sparkling (omitting the option for tap aka the free option).
