Service was excellent. Food was good but they ran out out of prime rib. A great disappointment!

As usual absolute horrible service with very good food. An hour to get food, starter came with entree, when I expressed that a starter should come first she said that she thought I wanted it that way! When does a person want a starter with their meal?? No second drinks offered or even came around to ask, one of the managers had a friends table there and the service they received was outstanding as it should be. I am a celiac with a sensitive allergy. I am sensitive to cross contamination and therefore react badly. I made all these things clear to my server. Jayda is a fantastic server, who took care of my party of three very well. She told the kitchen my concerns repeatedly, and I was assured that I would be safe. Despite this, the blackened chicken dish I was served must’ve had a lot of gluten contamination, since I reacted badly. I will now have to deal with inflammation and discomfort for several days. Went here for my mom’s birthday, service was not great at all. We were on the patio side and our waitress only had what looked like one other table besides ours and took forever to get her to come over for us to order anything, so that was disappointing but the food was great.

We went for a Celebration Lunch. Our Favourite place our team at work chooses for Christmas lunches and other special days. We love it at Joey! Before Oiler games too. We all order the same thing every time. The 6oz Sirloin with crispy mash and brocollini. I ordered my steak medium, asking for a bit of pink throughout. My steak was ok but it was definitely well done, no pink at all and it was dry. I felt really bad. I’ve never had a problem before. I just wanted to let you know. Thank you!
