The food was lovely but service terrible. Tasty crab starter but had only just commenced eating and mains were put in front of us which we declined although pressured to accept. Eventually took mains away and recooked our mains which were again tasty BUT when I finished mine and my wife still eating, my plate was taken and offered to order desserts! At that point asked for manager who was polite and apologetic and didn’t charge us. Never had this service anywhere in the World!
Way too many people for way too few servers resulted in poor service but not the server’s fault.
We love Joey restaurants and I will preface by saying the manager was delightful and comped our bottle of wine. Our service was inadequate. She couldn’t understand a substitution of vegetables for pasta, our sample tastes of wine we’re taking so long that we just said to forget it and randomly picked a bottle of wine because we didn’t want a lot left after dinner and would have liked to enjoy a glass while waiting. Good food and service. Why do they have music so loud? It’s a restaurant not a nightclub!
Food was amazing!!! Everything tasted great. Service was horrible. Very, very slow. Walked by many times and ignored. Knew it was a birthday and did nothing. Waited for the bill for 15+ minutes. Tipping starts at 18%. Forced to overtip when not earned. UPDATE Reached out to the manager as she request requested. NO reply. NEVER HEARD BACK.

Booked in advance for our 10 year wedding anniversary celebration. Ordered some cocktails which took quite a while to come which was fine as it was quite busy. I got the steak and ravioli and my husband got the lobster spaghetti. Both meals were cold however we were very hungry so my husband ate his without saying something. It was tasty but cold. I was pretty disappointed tonight. It took 15 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us with water or a drink. And then all we ordered was appies and they were all cold when they came out
