I had a fabulous birthday dinner there with my boyfriend, brother, and friends this past Saturday. So so glad JOEY was willing to accommodate us when we were late for our reservation. Thank you a million to our outstanding server Jordan, the hostesses, and all the staff behind the scenes that made this a memorable experience.

We always enjoy going to Joey! Today we had lunch at a table for seven, including relatives from the East Coast. Our server, JP, provided excellent attention and service for the entire meal. Thanks JP!

Friendly and welcoming attitude when we arrived. We arrived 25 minutes before our reservation but we were accommodated right away. Excellent service from our waiter as well our selection of food. Will come back.

Joey didn’t disappoint. Quick seating, courteous hostess and host. Server was attentive while not bothering our conversation. We really enjoyed the night. Will return more often🥰

Joey is consistently good no matter the location and NB does not disappoint. It's very noisy/high-energy but that's because it's a popular place to dine. I'm so excited we finally have a location in OC. The service is good despite the staff being so busy with so many tables. Reservations definitely recommended but Joey locations offering a comp glass of champagne while you wait makes the wait not so bad.

I was excited to have a Joey near me after moving to Irvine, but I’ve been a little disappointed with the service compared to my experiences at the DTLA location. Service (2/5): This is where Joey Newport falls short. 3 visits in, and I always seem forgotten. Example, all 3x i’ve been there I noticed champagne being offered to certain guests, but not to me… maybe a coincidence, but it left a weird impression. waiter, Danya, is probably the worse server ive ever had in my whole life. she is not a great representation of the restaurant/organization at all, egocentric ultimately is disappointing as the food and ambience are fantastic! everyone else myself + my group interacted with was great
