Our server was fabulous! The food and drinks are always delicious, that’s why we continue to come back.  Everyone is always so eager to help and please the customer, that’s why we continue to come back.

Our experience at Joey was disappointing. By the time we were seated, placed our order, and finally received our food, more than an hour had passed. While we understand that the restaurant was busy, waiting that long, especially for a party of just four felt excessive. The service should be more efficient, even during peak times.
Dinner for 4. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was great.

Dined here again a week later and were able to sit outside on the patio for the very first time. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne by the friendly host and sipped by the lovely lounging area with cozy cushions. We were brought to our table at the perfect time and enjoyed the cool breeze. Joey’s Newport Beach is a reliable spot—food is consistently solid, and the drinks are great. Seating can take a bit longer than expected, so plan accordingly. My biggest gripe is the bathroom situation; it’s almost always out of paper towels or soap, which is frustrating. This last visit topped it off with a random pair of boxers sitting on the stall shelf. I flagged it to the manager, who just said, ‘Thanks for letting me know,’ and that was it. Decent place overall, but they need to step up on the upkeep.
