Joey’s has long been one of my favorite restaurants. I first discovered it when I lived in DTLA and I’ve enjoyed many of their dishes since. The food is consistently good, there’s a nice variety, pricing is okay (could be better), and they *occasionally* offer a complimentary glass of champagne. I had a manhattan and my partner had a beer, and later an espresso martini. We ended our drinks. We had the salad and the seared fish salad. Both were great. We had the crème brûlée cheese cake. Everything was great. The service and pacing were great, too.

We had a reservation for over 6 weeks. When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. When it was ready they sat us at a high table in the bar near the tv’s. When we asked if we could move towards the dining room or outside they told us we would have to wait another 30-40 minutes for a table. Service was good and the food was as well just disappointed in the way our arrival was handled. Our reservation was at 5:45 so it wasn’t that busy yet either.
Food was delicious. I ordered the steak and lobster, and it came out not hot but not cold. Steak temperature wasn’t what it should be which indicates my steak may have been sitting for a while. Don’t get me wrong, it was all delicious though
Jack our waiter was the friendliest and recommended the best items! It was our first time in. We had lunch and everything was delicious!
