The main meal was good. It could have been hotter. We didn’t get steak knives until half way thru. The appetizer was small and not worth what you pay. The sunroom had a lot of flies so we asked to be moved into the lounge. Had to ask someone for service so we could order our meals or we would have still been waiting. Overall we were there for at least an hour and a half.
JOEY Polo Park never disappoints! The service is always friendly, attentive, and timely, and the menu offers so many delicious options. We definitely have our favourites—Sushi Cones to start, followed by the Steak & Ravioli Bianco for my husband and the Blackened Chicken for me. And no visit is complete without sharing a slice of the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake for dessert. We’re already looking forward to returning next month to celebrate my husband’s birthday!

My last experience at Joeys was fine. Food was amazing, and everyone was smiling. We enjoyed watching the Football game.
Booked the table for birthday celebration, besides I made an extra effort to go meet server 2 times away from my table just to keep it surprise. They didn’t bother to bring the cake on time. I had to go ask for it again. They took away the joy of that surprise. Adding to that, it was told that they’d bring a good cake which is complimentary, at the end they ended up bringing a small lava cake to CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY and charged it to me on my bill. Only 2 serves on staff made for a long night. 15 minutes to even put in a drink order but 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. Took the spicy crab dip off the menu :( People behind us kept going outside to smoke weed which normally i wouldn’t care but I’m pregnant & it was my birthday dinner which i couldn’t enjoy. Server kept apologizing for bad service but it wasn’t reflected back to us. I’ll come here for pre-planned events but won’t go out of my way to go here.
Had an awesome server and loved the atmosphere but sadly we both had steaks and they were both awful. Right in the supper rush and living almost 2 hours away didn’t want to say anything and await for a new steak for both of us. So we just ate it without saying anything. The service was slow. The table was too small for 5 people. They put an extra chair at the small round table but forgot to add cutlery. I had to ask for a set myself. The food was too expensive for the qualities of it. Also my wife's expensive apple pie was burnt. Sorry, but for a restaurant that charges these prices has to be a lot better than it was on our party of 5's first visit. Definitely not a good outing and experience, especially on Mother's Day.
Really enjoyed our experience this time, Josh the night manager was extremely welcoming and Katie our server took great care of us! For food we shared the happy hour guacamole and gyoza. Then for our mains and drinks my mom had the house red wine with steak and ravioli bianco (honestly one of the best options for mains).
