Our meal was interrupted by a fire alarm that lasted 20+ minutes. Our server (Mike) was very apologetic but could not provide information as to the cause of the alarm. The alarm made for an unpleasant experience that rattled guests and staff.
I had a truly disappointing experience at Joey Polo Park. I arrived after flying in from a week of meetings across Western Canada, and due to WestJet delays, I didn’t have time to change out of my hoodie and joggers before meeting clients. The host who seated us was a bit unfriendly and when we asked to switch from a table to a booth she didn’t say much besides okay & then didn’t return. We switched over by ourselves once the booth was cleaned and set. She didn’t notify our sever and we waited more than 15 minutes before anyone greeted us and got us water. Once our server finally found out he ran into the kitchen and returned a few minutes later & was pleasant and very good with the service.
Portion of food was much less than last few visits, steak was okay, Unfortunately ordered extra as I was left still hungry. Maybe you've had some menu changes not entirely sure. I will be back, but I will ask and request more details to the menu before ordering. I booked a Birthday dinner, however, we are seriously disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement... nothing shown to acknoweldge the birthday plans, nor was there any offer to add to the birthday whether it be drink or desserts! They recentlychanged their menu and no longer have sliders. they have something else that sort of replaces it but still think they should’ve kept the sliders on their menu.
Sunroom rocks the house!!! Food is great but seems over priced.
Food was ok but my steak was cold, I was never checked in on until the last few bites of my meal.
