We had an okay time at this Joeys location in Ottawa. We had lunch. The reason why I didn’t gave a great experience is because after our okay lunch our server picked up a dirty napkin off the floor and put it on our table with us sitting there. I was so upset that went to washroom to sanitize my phone. I will say that the lettuce wraps are good.
Pricey. They dont tell you if theres surcharges on some things so the bill was surprising. It was a birthday and we would have to pay for the piece of cake. We passed and celebrated elsewhere.
Great ambiance and delicious food! However, you are desperately cheap on your drink sizing. Especially beer and mixed drinks. Too much ice and beer glass not respectfully full - for the amount you are charging patrons.
Food was great. Server could have been more attentive to our table, as we sat empty too long needing drinks multiple times.
We unfortunately had a disappointing experience at Joey’s last night. I usually enjoy dining out there. It took considerable time for a server to ask if we wanted drinks. Our steak was not hot enough and we didn’t have utensils when the plate was served, nor were asked if we wanted wine with our meal ahead of time. The food was okay but not great. Hello, ordered the steak ribeye and found it to be not so tender with a lot of tendons in it . the taste was good, but the cut of meat left a lot to be desired. also, beware of the starter guacamole dish, it is very spicy
A man kept harassing our table from the outside window during our meal, tapping in the glass, yelling, making lewd gesture. It was a wholly unpleasant experience.
Dining at this resturant was an absolute disappointment. It cost an arm and a leg; we paid a $150 for just two meager meals,. To make matters worse, the quantity of food was insufficient, leaving us still feeling hungry. Moreover, the quality of the dishes was extremely poor, as they lacked flavor and presentation. Considering the unjustifiable price, inadequate portion sizes, and subpar quality, I would strongly advise against dining at this restaurant and cannot recommend it to others at all.
Good food. Great atmosphere and lighting. Adam (the manager) was extremely gregarious.
