Too busy so everything took a long time -food is always good
We are not overly pleased with our experience at Joey’s. After being seated it took almost 10 minutes for our server to greet us and ask for drinks, it then took another 10 minutes for our drinks to come. The margarita was missing the egg whites so it wasn’t as good as it normally is. After our food arrived we waited another 10 minutes to get soya sauce and for that we had to flag our server down. I have a dairy allergy and one of the few dairy free appies was the Miso roasted Mushrooms. They were super tasty but should have come with something to wipe up the rest of the sauce with. I wanted to order the Peanut Prawn Curry but was told it contained milk. I said coconut milk isn't dairy, but the server said the chef told her there was milk in that dish. So I chose the Katzu Chicken Salad instead and although it was okay, I probably wouldn't order it again. Also, they forgot the peanuts that are supposed to be included.... read more
The service was horrible. The waitress was told we needed to be at an event and time was important. She totally ignored it. Took 20-25 mins to get water and rinks. The food was lukewarm warm and disgusting. Will not be back and I used to go here regularly.
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my client at a business lunch.
Was good, but everytime we find something we really like you remove it from the menu. Flatbread, yam fries!!
