My husband and I were at Joey's south common, this afternoon, sharing stories and crying after today's funeral, and toasting to our friend's memories. The staff were sooo amazing (food was delicious too)! At the end of our meal, they gifted us with a bottle of wine with condolences from the Joey's family. We both lost it and broke out in tears...just what our friend would have done when people show such compassion and empathy. Made us cry and laugh even more.
