I have been a customer at Joey’s Kitchen since it opened in 2013 when it replaced the Lake union location that closed. Like everywhere, the prices have really shot up. This was never a cheap place, but it is getting out of hand with the cost compared to food received. Joey’s is really skimping on portion sizes. Was very disappointed in the experience.

Joey’s did not honor our open table reservation ( and this is the 3rd time this has happened this year!). We very intentionally picked a night where “Dining Room (Booth Only)” was available. When we arrived there were two vacant booths so imagine our surprise when the host walked us to a high table at the bar, it was dark, noisy, and directly placed in the walkthrough area to the Atrium so high traffic. We had a reservation waited 30 minutes for our food to be told they had ran out of Steak and Lobster Pasta. This is the 2nd time we had dined with you guys and been disappointed. First they forgot our desert order and we waited 45 minutes👎🏾👎🏾
Service was bad, no server really for the table. The Humus had just siziki in it. Pita was burned
Deeply disappointed tonight. Made a reservation for bar seating at 630pm which was not on the books somehow. Found out they dropped the Ahi Tuna Club, which was the best thing on the menu. The cheeseburger is a poor second choice, a cut above Jack in the Box. And the prices are outrageous. The only thing worth keeping this place on the standby list is the wings.
Servwr did not check up on us at all and when she came by she just said what do u want to eat in the not nicest way. We also noticed her speaking to other customers in a different way than she did to us so that was disappointing. I never like to assume of the back that it’s because of race but that’s what it seemed like to my lady and I. We are a mixed young couple so we may get out in a stereotype but that’s never ok.
