The office staff is friendly and efficient as is Dr. Etcheverry. The SCOI office experience is great but since combining with UCLA health there have been constant issues with communications, procedure approvals and billing. I keep hoping they will sever the relationship with UCLA but in the mean time I'll get good physician care and put up with UCLA Health nonsense.
My visit and my surgery went very well. I would recommend Dr. Etcheverry because he is very caring about your situation.
During the whole process, Dr. Etcheverry and his staff were great. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Every appointment, the team was on time and my visits were very minimal. I walked in close to my appointment time, went through the Covid protocol , sit down and be called back within 2 to 3. Very easy and convenient.
Everyone was very nice and open. The surgery was done with precision and there was minimal bruising and swelling. They checked on you via getwell loop and answered concerns promptly.

Dr. Etcheverry was very professional and empathetic during visits. He explained what was causing my ankle pain and options available to alleviate it. Surgery was arranged, and it went very well. There has been little to no pIn from the surgery.
Dr. Etcheverry worked me into his scheduled day, clearly and truthfully told me what to expect from ankle surgery and patiently answered questions. The daily online interactions - prep, education, follow up with the ability to ask questions that were answered daily reassured me during recovery. Totally appreciate and recommend this doctor.
I am very much satisfied with everything so far. As I indicated the appointments seemed to be rushed. I had notes with questions to ask, but he seem to rush through and therefore I felt rushed and couldn't think fast enough, especially if he brought up other questions in my mind at the moment.
