After recently undergoing a total hip arthroplasty (it's been 6 months) and most recently some minor knee discomfort, Dr. Taliaferro aggressively explored why there was discomfort in the knee, found the culprit and immediately began treatment. I told him that he was an excellent Doctor, and asked him why he chose this profession. His was response was 'I want to help people.'
Dr. T has been my doc for a while at EmergeOrtho and he never wavers on compassion, thoroughness, and understanding. As a cancer patient I am continually reminded that all healthcare should be like this. I not only appreciate him as a physician, his staff is kind.
