I have worked with a handful of lenders now, and spoken with many more (before eventually deciding to not go with them). In general, for straightforward loans, I've come to the belief that shopping for a loan is a numbers game. I don't really buy into the notion of the need for 'high touch' lenders, etc. I believe the numbers I see on the paper, and go with the best terms. Julie was absolutely amazing during every phase of our home buying process.
