Dr. Melendez, Juliette Eye Institute, performed my laser cataract surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results. Before the surgery I was very near-sighted. Now, with the trifocal lens implants I have great vision. What a blessing to be able to see clearly and no longer need contacts or glasses! You won't go wrong with Dr. Melendez.

Dr. Melendez makes me feel cared for and always has time for my questions. He comforted me before, during, and after my surgery. Dr. Melendez and his staff have created a welcoming atmosphere. Every person there is friendly.

1 year since my cataract surgery by Dr. Melendez. I have been extremely happy with outcome. Perfect vision without glasses, no complications. He is extremely competent, courteous, and great service minded. I highly recommend his practice for eye problems. Wish him the best.

I was told that due to my RK that was performed in the 80’s that I was not a candidate to have cataract surgery to help/correct my vision. I went to Dr. Melendez for a second opinion. The results of my cataract removal and lens (light adjustable) replacement procedure are everything I hoped for. Dr. Melendez and staff always took time to listen and answer all my questions. He and his staff are the most friendly and caring medical personnel I have ever met. They make you feel like family.

Dr. Melendez is professional in the most caring and personal way. He sat with me (in no hurry) to make sure I understood the pathology of my eyes in order for me to make the right decision for treatment. Even as a medical provider myself, Dr. Melendez never assumed I knew about the pathology of my eyes and educated me without hesitation. Additionally, his staff is friendly and attentive. He was very knowledgeable about my eye problems and was not only able to explain what could be done but also showed me movies on what he would do. He answers every question you may have about the procedure. I now have 20/20 vision after he put in replacement lens and the pressure in my eyes has dropped do I no longer have to put in daily drops. He is the best.

My mother and I were under Dr Melendez’s care. We both had a very positive experience. His staff is a reflection of his great character. They are attentive to our needs.
