Two words: cockroaches, mice I lived in this building in 2018 and my unit didn't only have cockroaches every day, but there was a mouse living under my fridge-- and I'm a clean person. It was gross. Plus the air conditioners do not cool it down very much, especially in the bedrooms. The pool is nice, but they open it late in the season and close it early.

Cockroaches Don't move here. I have an updated unit which looks nice and functions fine, but there are nonstop cockroaches. I vacuum then shower my apartment in pesticide every single day before leaving, and they still appear all the time. Disgusting. Pay the extra $200 a month to live somewhere else.

Bad Bad Bad If i can give this dump no star i would. This place is horrible. It needs to be tore down and rebuilt. There is nothing but bugs, ants, roaches you name it they got it here at juneau village towers. Management is horrible. They let the residents dogs crap all over the yard without picking it up. They do not do anything about the missing packages at all. They won’t do anything about the water stains. I also have bloches in the ceilings they don’t want to fix it because they said it will make too much of a mess. I ... read more

Don't rent here The staff are very rude. The building had on-going bed bugs and large cockroaches and they will take your money. This rent is too high for the dump you get. I was unable to leave food out there were strange white ants every where getting into my food after I put up my food the clear ants would still come out of the walls. Do not rent here very bad!

WARNING DO NOT RENT AT THIS APARTMENT! Juneau Village Towers is a very old building, they are attempting to do cheap fix up, but the building needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. The building has a problem with on-going large cockroaches. I walked into my bathroom and found large cockroach dead in my tub, one morining I got up for work and one went across my living room floor, this one was alive. I found large cockraches in the hallway dead that were left there for a week. I was invaded by small white ants in my kithen area... read more

Bait and Switch After much careful consideration and excitement to move to Milwaukee from out of state, I finally signed a lease for an apartment that seemed great. 10 days later and less than 24 hours before I was set to move in (internet, electricity, movers already lined up) I received a phone call from Juneau Village Towers telling me there had been a "big mistake" and my rent would actually be $100 more a month. They informed me I had two options, to 1. move in at the new rate or 2. "get out of" my lease (even though th... read more

DO NOT LISTEN TO 5-STAR REVIEWS!!! Where do I start? First, COCKROACHES!!! COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! I've had my apartment sprayed once already (management blamed it on the arena construction happening 1 mile away) yet they keep coming back. Literally running across my floor. There are other little bugs/insects crawling everywhere also so consider yourself warned. Also, don't expect to sleep. Between the jackhammer going in the basement to them "renovating" the apartments above and below me, I have to leave my apartment duri... read more

Business response:

Dear Justin, Your experience with JVT is truly disappointing. As a manager, I take full responsibility for the issues you encountered during your time here. That being said, we are currently hiring more staff so that no tenants’ issues slip through the cracks. While city construction is notorious for stirring up underground bug-life, we are doing our best to exterminate all pests so that no tenants feel uncomfortable at home; we’re hiring new exterminators and using the latest methods to eradicate the issue. Thankfully, the ... read more

Living here is possible, but begrudgingly The Good: • The view is nice and it is in the center of downtown and by the lake. • It's close to the grocery store. • There is a pool in the summer. The Bad: • There will be bugs...too many ants to count and I have seen three cockroaches in the laundry room. • Once a month you can expect to wake up or come home to there being no water on in the building, and no help to be found when calling about it. • The shower drains are bad as well, granted my girlfriend sheds hair a lot, but it... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are proud to boast the largest pool in downtown Milwaukee and a great central location. We have taken your feedback seriously and have moved up the summer window washing and extermination to clear any bugs from the window area. While we do occasionally have maintenance issues we try our best to minimize tenant disruption. We have installed new machines in the laundry rooms and have begun the process of installing new state of the art euro washer-dryers in every apartment. We have comp... read more
