Don't Rent Here! The shower has 2 settings; ice cold or scolding hot. Don't expect to sleep with all the noise. They literally have a jackhammer that shakes the whole apartment building going from 7am-3pm. Windows are broken and staff won't fix them. Heat doesn't work and neither does the A/C. Great location, awful apartment complex.

Management Missed Apartment Showing Appointment I'm moving to the area from out of state, so we set up an appointment in the morning on a Saturday to tour this facility, and no one was even in the office at 10 am. We sat around for 15 minutes waiting for someone to show up before leaving. We left a message offering to stop by later that day, but didn't even get a call back. Truly embarrassing, and I'm thankful they didn't show up, because I can't be confident that the service as a tenant would be much better.

Turn and Run One of the most disappointing and aggravating living experiences I have ever had. Like mentioned in other reviews, though they have attempted to make cosmetic changes on their property this does nothing but mask the real issue this establishment has as a whole. Where do I begin? Windows leak water, be ready for a flood. Windows whistle extremely loud when windy If you call about a complaint make sure you send an email to, that way it's documented. If you don't document it you will never see anything get done. They don't care about the residence, all of them are crabby and hate they have to be there. Look for another place, my warning to you.

So many things to complain about with this apartment..if you don't feel like reading them all, just take away from this review that moving in to not only JVT, but ANY KATZ PROPERTY is the worst decision you could make. Bed Bugs-Don't live here!!!!! My roommate and I just moved to Milwaukee 2 months ago and we have already gotten bed bugs from this building. There are multiple cases open at the apartment complex, but the management refuses to take the proper action to resolve the issue. We called and left messages multiple times trying to get in contact with them and they never returned our messages. If a unit on our property ever had a case of bed bugs it would be handled immediately by professionals. Bed bugs are brought into apartments and do not remain there after a series of treatments by an exterminator as long as residents cooperate with all instructions. The professionals make certain any incident would be isolated and resolved as quickly as possible! We take pride in our properties!
You pay the rent and you dont bother anyone is office you are fine but if you do the system breaks! Past 2 years were very convenient, living in one of the very few places with balcony in downtown milwaukee. But the moment I decided to move out the whole system broke. They have this blackout period where no one can move out from till feb and if you do you have to pay the rent. Got a new job at a different city and now being unable to move. Watch out

Worst Value. Do not rent here. Everything is dirty. Everything. I was without an air conditioner for three months. Don't expect to get much (if any) of your security deposit back. Leasing office is very unorganized and does not keep track of your paperwork. They are constantly hiring new employees. What does that say about the management? Things are always broken.
