Dr. Sheffer is simply the best: his kindness, his incredible knowledge and his ability to make things understandable, and the time he takes to listen are top notch. I went in with so many questions, and left knowing all my concerns were heard and answered. He was so gentle with my broken foot, too! Dr. Sheffer, Parker, the front office team and the X-ray and boot fitting folks were all great! I highly recommend JoCo Orthopedics, and Dr. Sheffer in particular.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Sheffer. He’s professional, kind, great sense of humor, great listener, and very knowledgeable. I wish more physicians had his great bedside manner. He’s the best.

As a nurse, I think that many of us have high expectations for our health care providers. I needed to find an ortho group nearer our home. I appreciated Dr. Sheffer's gracious demeanor and how well he explained conservative care for my fracture. It was humbling to learn there were some things I needed to learn to live in a cam boot. I am impressed with his skills, trust his recommendations and hope I am nearly as sharp as I approach being older. Thank you!
Very punctual! 2nd visit today - both good visits. Dr. Sheffer has excellent “bedside” manners. He really listens, explains well and presents a good care plan. I would most definitely recommend him

Wait time 5 minutes!! Friendly and caring staff. Dr. Sheffer showed the xrays on the screen and explained exactly why I'm having so much elbow pain. Very informative and knowledgeable. Recommended a specific course of action and needed treatment. Would definitely recommend him to others!!
