I'm assuming it was the manager walking around table to table. He gets to ours ask if we would do a brief survey that he's completing on an IPad. He ask how many visits we've had their, how far did we travel to get there, then he wants us to show him on the Map on the screen where our house/address is. Um No!!! Honestly, this was nothing special. We waited 30 minutes for a table and almost another hour for food that was very disappointing. Waitress dropped off the check with the food and we didn't see her again for another 20 minutes, no refills on water. The omelet was bland, no butter for my toast and the grits were cold, it's like they didn't even try. Unlikely to return.

The first couple times we went it was delicious and the service was great. This time not so much unfortunately. My food came out before my husbands. The guy dropped my food on the table said my "the other one will be out whenever". Not amazing to have my husband sit there while I start eating. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were over cooked. Our server was no where to be found. My husband got the turtle stuffed French toast When his food was finally brought to us it wasn't even hot. This is our second time trying this Keke's. We went around 10:00 on a Thursday and were so excited that they were not crowded. I think my best advice is to not be seated at the booth right next to the counter. Last time we were there, the patrons' server just disappeared and I remember listening to them become very frustrated that they couldn't leave in a timely manner. Food was bland and cold every time. Was invited to the first family and friends opening and our name wasn't even on the list yet received confirmation for our attendance. once we got in there were waiters telling us not to sit down hey because there were bugs in our booth. (the waiter literally stomped on a spider and left the nasty bug guts there on the floor) food then was cold and bland gave them a second chance and it tasted the same. Food is great, but OMG service sucks. The first time we came service was great. Since then it takes forever to get a server to come to the table. Then once they come, they all seem so unhappy, and they do not appear happy at all. They are not friendly to customers. When our server finally came to the table to get our drink orders we told her we were ready to order as we had been here a while. The restaurant was clean and cute inside. The wait time was a bit long, but we didn't mind. The food was terrible. I ordered pecan pancakes, homestyle fries with jalapenos on the side and cheesy grits. My order came out completely wrong. The waitress who took my order went to get it remade. The manager came out with my pancakes which was stale and cold, my potatoes were undercooked and smoothed with Jalpanoes and my Grits were not seasoned or cheesy. I will not be back.
