Hubby and I decided to try a new place after leaving the hotel from our overnight staycation. I checked Yelp for nearby brunch locations and the kee kee breakfast logo looked familiar, so we chose that one. We went in around 1230P and were told there would be a 30 min wait. What a great surprise to find this breakfast spot! It is located right on Hulen St. near many shops, super convenient! The inside is light and clean. The service was outstanding! Our server made sure water and coffee were supplied, needs were met, and all with a smile. I ordered the eggs Benedict. They were presented well and made to perfection! We had an amazing breakfast at Keke's, and the staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming. Our server Gabby was awesome. She exampled some of the options for breakfast, and all with a smile, and friendly way. The atmosphere is very well lighted and the music is not over bearing. Again, Thank You Gabby for great service.
The food is top tear. The place is bright and open. Timothy was an awesome waiter and talked to me about my tattoos and got to know him as a person. He was awesome.
Keke's Breakfast Cafe was such a cute find! Zero wait time when we got there, which is always a great start. We ordered a salad, some pancakes, and I got the chicken and waffles with spicy syrup, and it did not disappoint. The Carolina chicken salad was nice and crisp, exactly how a good salad should be. My chicken and waffles were the star of the meal though, the chicken was perfectly crispy and the waffle was nicely toasted with just the right amount of crunch. I recently visited KeKe's in Fort Worth and unfortunately was not very impressed with the overall experience. While the service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of the visit, the food itself was disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor and did not live up to the expectations based on the reviews I had seen. I was also surprised by the limited coffee selection. Our first time at Keke's, but not our last. This is a cute breakfast/lunch spot that has pancakes, scrambles, omelets and sandwiches, depending on what you're in the mood for. My husband got the the cheese and steak sandwich. I got to build your own scramble with scrambled eggs, feta cheese, onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. My kid got the chocolate chip pancakes. We loved it! We came here for the first time early on a Monday morning. Lots of open seating. We were seated, with menus, in a booth and a server was out with waters right away. They have a lot of breakfast options so it was hard to decide at first. Our server, Anthony B was great.
