You know, for the amount of time we waited to get a table at this place, I really expected more. I also had several people recommend it, and if I'm being honest, I was disappointed. We had to squeeze six adults into a booth meant for four, so there wasn't much room for anyone to eat comfortably. The server was nice, but I think she had too many tables. Service was really great. Friendly staff and good waitstaff, but the food was subpar. My friend and I went today after church. It was pretty busy and we had to wait about 20 minutes. Staff was attentive but the food was just not that great. I ordered one of the breakfast combos. I had 1 piece of french toast, scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon. We tried breakfast at the Hulen location. Our server was nice and the food was good. However, we did not expect the entertainment of a screaming match in the kitchen between some employees where there were dropping F bombs and other colorful language. The families with young kids sitting next to us did not find it entertaining. Inexcusable behavior for a family business. This was our first and last time to visit.

7/21/225 1:17 pm I placed an order online for pickup for my family of 4. Total $69.01. I picked it up when notified it was ready around 1:32 pm. Upon reaching home discovered some burnt toast, overcooked items, omelets flat no cheese missing other items and missing side of grits.. I offered to return all the food but Tony who said he was a manager he assured me they would refund my full cost. It would take 5 to 7 business days. I really was excited about trying this place out. My son had pancakes, home fries and eggs and I had a veggie breakfast bowl and toast. The home fries were under cooked, they failed to give me my toast and my son (who pretty much likes all foods) asked if we cannot eat at Keke's again.

We tried Keke's for the first time yesterday, and for as long as we waited to get in, I was expecting so much more. The staff was painfully slow and seemed uninterested--getting a smile from anyone was impossible. The food service was ridiculous. Items came out one at a time on separate plates--one plate for a single piece of French toast, one small bowl for grits, one plate for eggs with bacon just tossed on top. Hey Keke, you're a breakfast cafe in Texas and you don't have biscuits and gravy (get a rope). The waitress said "hundreds" of people have asked for B&G. But this place is an out of state franchise so they just don't care. And it's reflected in the food and service. Go local.

We were excited to try a new breakfast place close to us. It was such a disappointment. Our waitress started off giving us terrible service. Didn't ask everyone what they wanted to drink, then started walking off when we said we had another drink order. Can't blame it on noise volume as we were at the back in a corner by ourselves. The service did get better as things went along. Sadly, the food was terrible. There were 5 of us, so we had a wide variety of dishes. It was all pretty terrible. Will not be returning.
