Dr Mendoza and team are absolutely wonderful. First time ever dentist experience for both of our kids (3&5 yrs old). I was extremely worried about my son as he tends to get super anxious and combative in new unknown situations. The staff completely put both him and my 3 yr old daughter at ease. I think it helped they went back together. Tvs are mounted so kids can watch them during procedures. Also, the magic token for a bonus if they were good was an awesome add on. This was our first visit here, as we were recommended by another dentist. The staff explains everything, and my 4-year old felt so comfortable during the whole process of x-rays and getting her teeth looked at. I really appreciate the assistant who explained why my child had decay and gave me sheets of info to help me with her eating and brushing habits. The dentist office and staff are amazing! The office staff ensures, that your kid will not be so nervous during visits. They are patient with the kids that are nervous. Staff was very attentive towards the kids as well. The process of their work was thorough and efficient, meanwhile other offices take hours with appointments. I've never been in a dental practice that makes the kids feel so comfortable. They always accommodate to our schedule needs. From the beginning to the end it's a great experience.
We had a great experience. My daughter is very shy and as soon as we walked through the door she had excitement in her. She was so happy throughout the entire experience and she is so excited to go back. Dr. Thomas was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and her hygienist did an amazing job of cleaning my daughters teeth. Especially since it is difficult to get her to let me clean the back teeth. I have an 11 year old son with sensory issues and anxiety. Dentist visits have never been pleasant for either of us. Dr Shiny and staff really took their time to explain what they would do step by step and made sure he was comfortable before they began. The hygienist even changed the flavour of the paste he chose as he did not like it. Easiest visit ever.
Both my kids have never complained about going to the Dentist thanks to the wonderful staff and Dr Mendoza
I have been bringing my kids to Dr. Mendoza and her staff for 14 years.She is gentle and has a wonderful way of communicating with kids and parents.
