Kids Plus Pediatrics is a terrible practice and I strongly discourage parents from selecting them as a provider. My toddler has never been consistently seen by the same provider. We had an incident where my daughter was sick and prescribed medication that we believed resulted in a small allergic reaction last time it had been administered to her. I typically dont write reviews but I am very dissatisfied with the way the billing office treated me when I called regarding a question regarding a bill that I felt was inappropriate. I was billed for a nurse showing me an inhaler spacer. The billing office said that it would have been insurance fraud if they didnt. FRAUD?? How about you ask next time before you bill me for something that I already know about. Needless to say we didnt even need this equipment because my son doesnt need an inhaler in the first place.

Wonderful doctors and fancy offices don't make up for their rude admin staff. They discharged my kids who were all there since birth when my insurance had a mixup and didn't pay for a visit. Instead of sending me a letter or calling me, they said we were no longer welcome for non-payment. I could have easily paid that bill Lots of great doctors all over the Pittsburgh area. Not losing sleep over losing this place.

I really wanted to like this office. First a few pros: they do offer a lot of "extras", like toddler time, new moms coffee, and mom/baby yoga. Also, they are attached to Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh, which is very convenient for new moms. Unfortunately, that is were the good portion stops. First incident my son went in for a well visit. He was sick with a cold at the time, so they decided to hold off on his shots until he was feeling better. Pleasant Hills office is old and dirty. Waiting and treatment rooms very crowded. Have had to make repeated trips to take care of issues. Dont have faith that the doctors know what they are doing. Was told ear pain was allergies one day, swimmers ear the next. Was told he was sick from dehydration one day and it was the really the flu.

I typically love this office but I am upset about a ridiculous $15 charge for "special handling fee" for a routine blood drawn daughter had (finger prick) following her 9 month well visit. So pissed that the office is charging a handling fee. I called my insurance and even they said that they hardly ever see physicians charging for this.
