First off Dr. Miller is an evil man. If I could give less than one star I would. I survived a central nervous system tumor it effects my ability to speak and walk NOT think. And to get that fact through the thick skulls of the stuff proved impossible because they are uncaring. The conditions are horrible. The staff ignores the patient and treats you like less than a dog. Kindred hospital has a handful of employees that are simply amazing and they go above and beyond for patient and families! However there are many employees that don't care and the care that they give shows it! Many negative things happened in kindred but the few that are amazing pulled together and got my husband out of there onto the next steps of our lives
This hospital not bad but the Kindred rehab facility ABSOLUTELY AWFUL
My son was there for 5 months and they constantly ignored his chest pain by just putting a lidocaine patch on his chest. They kicked him out with C-Diff and huge open bed sore wounds. Each Dr kept completely changing around all of his meds. One Dr told me on the phone (and I recorded the conversation) that she was slipping him "pot pills" to get him to eat more. Months after he left Kindred he died 5x in the ER at Denver Health because his "chest pain" was due to fluid building up around his heart. In talks with lawyers righ... read more
Uncaring staff. Pushy. Needed constant supervision but still ignored patient's family. Almost killed my husband.
Feel like the staff is lacking and uncaring. The Doctors do not keep up on their patients and ignore any requests by them and / or their families. Helping the patients??? Well that is out of the question! Please make sure you understand your insurance If you do not keep up with the days you have within your plan. You may, receive a bill in the mail for $750.00 a day for room, then billed for 3 meals. Snacks. Drinks. Let us not forget the PT, OT, and/ or ST for that will knock your socks off for sure.
