After obtaining her Master’s degree in 2010, she enrolled in the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Talbot earned her M.D. in 2014 and returned home to Baton Rouge to perform her Residency in Internal Medicine at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Dr. Talbot is genuinely concerned about her patients. She listens, engages the patient in their care decisions, and makes adjustments where needed to achieve the best outcomes. Not just changing medication, but more nuanced factors.
The visit with Dr Talbot was a breath of fresh air. She is caring, compassionate, and listened to everything I had to say. I feel very comfortable with putting my health care in her hands.

Dr Talbot is very invested in her patients. She listens to my concerns and questions as well as following up on prior issues. She is thorough and thoughtful.. When I leave she gives me an assignment list of tasks to round out my care— labs, vaccines, other physicians to see, etc. I feel very comfortable that I am getting very good care from her.
Dr Talbot is thorough with each office visit. She takes the time to get to know the patient’s concerns. Never in a rush to get you out from the visit.
Dr. Talbot is the most knowledgeable and compassionate doctor I have ever had in my life.
