Comfortable Hotel with Questionable Service The front desk staff is hit or miss. They can be incredibly warm and inviting, making you feel more than welcome; or, they can be dismissive and indifferent, not caring whether you stay or leave. There is obviously work to do by management in this area. Also, the main floor lamp in the room would not work. The hotel is a good value. Good As soon as we walked into our room, it instantly smelled of cigarettes and wet dog. What an awful combination. I was told the hotel was a no smoking, no vaping hotel. The smell was bad!! So we had to switch rooms, the next room didn't have a smell. The pools needed some cleaning. But it's not their fault. They have a lot of trees surrounding the pools, so with all the debris from the palm trees, it always felt dirty coming out of the pool.
