This place is all about love. They even tell you they love you. I knocked off a star because of my frustration with their online orders. They have QR codes everywhere telling you to order online. I waited in the line out the door and decided to order using the QR code. Big mistake!! I stood where those in Iinr pick up their drinks. I was skeptical when I walked in, mostly looked like some sort of high end spa. Pleasantly surpised with the food! The avocado toast was delicious and fresh and they have really unique coffee drinks. The place was also very clean, which I always look for. I will definitely be back.
This cafe is sooo cute! I love the branding and the interior is so aesthetic. I got the strawberry matcha latte and it was delicious! A lot of coffee shops don't do this combo very well and it ends up tasting kind of weird, but I think la la land nails it. It was a little too sweet for me, but overall flavor is great. The cups are also so adorable and I love how the cup sleeves have different quotes on them.
The straws are heart shaped which is so cute. There's multiple matcha options for my fellow matcha lovers out there.
The burrata toast variations are generally pretty good! I tried a whole different bunch of versions. I also enjoyed the iced matcha latte! My first favorite is the truffle oil avocado toast with burrata. My next favorite is the regular avocado toast with sliced hard boiled eggs on top with chili flakes, my least favorite was the chili burrata avocado toast. As an enjoyer of pour overs and black coffee, this isn't the type of place I'd normally seek out. However, in need of a coffee and place to chill at the grove, we landed here and it didn't disappoint! The drinks lean on the sweet and colorful side, which it definitely delivers on! They have a variety of matcha and coffees with various syrups, you won't be at a lack of choices! Tasted very watery compared to the first time. Probably had an off day, but definitely have to go back and try other drinks. Service is great, they know how to manage the line in an efficient manner. Difficult to sit down and relax due to limited seating, but experience overall is 7/10.
Cute big store in The Grove shopping plaza. The decor is minimalist, white, bright and airy. Big sofa to sit down and relax and a few stools /counter tops around the perimeter. La la land located in the grove in Culver City a little European French vibe decor. Staff is awesome almost closing time so they still tended to my wife and I. We got two drinks and they were semi busy for week night. They serve mini bite food from what I saw on menu. They sell merchandise for home and gifts. Parking lot available in structure. Will come back for more when in the area.
