LA LA LAND KIND CAFE in Calabasas is STUNNING!! Located at The Commons, the surrounding turtle pond, fountains, and patio dining always makes for an elevated experience! I love bringing friends and family here when they are visiting from out of town. Their reaction is priceless...always so surprised at how gorgeous the cafe and surroundings are. Love love love this place. I just wish they will make their coffees like their lattes a little bit thicker just so I can feel like I'm drinking a nine8 dollar latte or specialty drink. It needs a little fluff. They just seem so watered down., And not creamy. The drinks are not carefully made. The girls are just rushing. Well I don't blame them. The place is quite busy, but I also usually go there for their strawberry toast with Nutella. That is absolutely divine.

Reallllyyyy sweet drink like the most I've ever had in a coffee. I wish I got it like 1/4 sweet! I would def want to try it knowing that they make drinks sweet. I tried some of my friends drinks like the matcha was really good. Line wasn't worth the drink for me but I get the appeal of the store and drinks.

I'm totally obsessed with this coffee shop! As a big coffee drinker, I love their quality brews and how they offer options that aren't too sweet, which is perfect for my black coffee preference. Their pastries are amazing too! Plus, the staff is always super nice and helpful. I make sure to stop by whenever I get the chance!
I feel like this place gets a lot of hate from my friends and I can't really figure out why. The aesthetics of the venue are top notch, their branding is on point, and although I find their signature "love you babe" when delivering the drinks a little cringy, I can see how it fits into the aesthetic. I should start by prefacing this review that La La Land Kind is not my aesthetic. I like a cozy and warm coffee shop. Walking in I loved the positive sayings on the merch, but the chandelier, and decor just didn't give coffee shop vibes. To each their own. Now that that is out of the way... I ordered an unsweetened matcha latte and almond butter with fruit toast. The total was $20 plus tip so a little on the pricey side, but I love coffee and toast. Such a fun coffee shop! Visited and were open somewhat late for Saturday, but if stayed open a bit later, customers would still come in due to the location. Loved my French toast matcha latte and the actual toast was absolutely amazing too! The merch is my favorite and always makes me smile :)
