Super crowded and popular, but they handled it in stride. Staff were working their butts off.  They apologize for any delays, but it really wasn’t noticeable it just seemed like a very relaxing dinner. Cute ambience that surprised me and the outdoor patio was lovely. Excellent cocktail selection and delicious food.
Food was good but not breathtaking. Solid 4 stars. Nice place for the community to have something not overtly trying to be another 5 star, Michelin star restaurant like so many around San Diego. This was nice to have an intro also to a new place during restaurant week and would come back with friends if invited.

Everything was delicious. The pasta was outstanding. The waiters were excellent. It was a little noisy, but only because it was crowded and people were obviously having a good time and vigorously conversing.
I read about a new restaurant opening in Bay Park about 6 months ago. It got rave reviews. I decided Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity to go sample. The place is a #1 knockout. If it were located in Hillcrest it would put Arrivederci out of business. The Italian authenticity and spin on preparation is beyond one's expectations. Food was amazing for the restaurant week menu. The stuffed eggplant was fantastic, the Pappardelle has always been my favorite dish, and the canoli was out of this world. Service was superb as always. The only negative point is the sound quality in there is just weird, or off. Like acoustically. It wasn’t that loud overall but the lack of an actual ceiling makes the sound quality for convos difficult. Don’t know how else to explain it.
Food very good service not good. They ran out of the appetizer I wanted I asked the waiter how big the second choice was so we can share he overly exaggerated it it was too small to share. He did not check with us after the food was delivered to see if we needed anything else such as shredded parmesan on our dish or if we needed more water, wine, or the check. I feel he did not deserve the tip I gave since a tip should be for service which was non-existent.
Excellent service, from both the waitstaff and the kitchen, considering how busy they were for Restaurant Week. Excellent food as well.
Great atmosphere and great service. Food is delicious but portions are small for the price. I don’t mind paying $30+ for pasta these days but I don’t want to still be hungry at the end of the meal. A good neighborhood restaurant.
