Amazing dinner experience! Always a good time with delicious food and drinks at this Italian joint.
We insisted on sitting on the patio even tho it was cold. The staff was so kind about getting the heaters working for us even tho we were high maintenance about!
We have had a really good time and enjoyed la pastaia in the past. We have had one of our best date nights here. We went on Christmas eve for the prix fixe menu. Our server was very good and did his best. I could tell they were short staffed. Two appetizers came out cold. The bread came late. This is a food runner problem. The lobster bisque- there was no lobster. There were only 4 of us and we made the best of it, but we're very disappointed in the food quality vs cost.
I have been there twice. Ordered the salmon the first time and the shortrib tortelloni the second time. Both were excellent! Looking forward to trying a few of their other dishes.
My boyfriend and I went there because it’s our neighborhood and d they had steak on the menu so we decided to try it The salad with the blues cheese was excellent We ordered a child portion of Bolognese delicious We split everything because we just don’t want to eat that much. So when we saw an8 oz filet on the menu we thought perfect. We order medium. It took quite awhile to get it , pasta came out first . Our table had the Cavatelli Bolognese, the Pollo Fiorentino and the Cavatelli Salsiccia E Broccoli...all were delicious and substantial. Two of us took sizeable portions home for another meal. Staff is very engaging. This has become one of our favorite restaurants...and it's only three minutes from our home.
Great atmosphere and waiter but the food was lacking quality. The pizza crust which I ordered crisp, was kind of soggy but toppings were tasty. The salad seemed expired. My friend's pasta was also mediocre.
Lovely Christmas Eve price fix meal. I had the seafood pasta which came with lobster in the shell, of shrimp and clams, my husband had the fillet which was delicious and generous. Wonderful service, nice ambience. A happy place for Christmas Eve.
We made a last minute reservation on NYE and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service! We sat on the patio but with the heaters were never cold. The food was outstanding and the service was flawless! We couldn't have chosen a better place!
