Not enough staff for the amount of tables seated. We waited awhile to be greeted at the table, place order, and get our food and drinks. Only one bartender for the entire restaurant. Heard other tables also complaining about the service. Food was good overall and prices were fair. I’m unsure if we will give it another try. This wasn’t the first time we were disappointed but we wanted to give it another try and they had available seating when we booked. They just need more staff and to be more attentive.
Everything was perfect, the Food is delicious and the ambience
We have loved dining here in the past so was disappointed in the menu changes. The food was good but nothing like before. Not sure why the changes but I hope they do well.
This is hands down authentic Italian good. The service and food is immaculate. There is a sense of pride for the expectations in this establishment. 10/10
This is a great neighborhood gem! The ambience and service (and authentic cuisine) you would find in La Jolla But in our own backyard :)
Excellent service. The wait staff and bartender were superb!
Very good service. Pasta with vodka sauce was great. We were disappointed with the calamari tasted a little rubbery and undercooked which is surprising because the accompanying shrimp was perfect.
This was my 4th or 5th visit to LP and every time the food and service is fantastic! The food... OMG! Everyone I have been with have always loved their dishes also as I don't eat much meat and they said it's all incredible! Cheers to LP for serving up an excellent experience so close to my home! P.S. the chairs are so comfortable! I need that as someone w/ back issues so it's always a plus to be able to sit comfortably for an entire meal! I will def be back many times over! Cheers!
The food and service never disappoints! Sergio is a world class server. It was nice to have dinner on a Monday evening after Thanksgiving. The restaurant wasn’t busy as it usually is - so we had the whole place to ourselves. Delicious!
