needs an update Lobby area very nice. elevators and hallways dirty. two sets of keys did not work on our rooms door. had to wait for someone to come and try them for themselves before moving us to another room. overall, the hotel needs updating

why? Really tired hotel, hallways smelled like smoke, sofa bed cushions were flattened, stained and scary to sit on. Wore socks the whole time because the carpet was dirty

Cold Showers, Great way to start the day. Cons: the lasckof hot water for a shower The wall paper was peeling in several areas, but best of all there was no hot water for showers. My kids 'loved' that....Unbelievable. Beds were full size not queen- a bit tight.

Really gone downhill. Pros: Friendly staff. Cons: Mold in the bathroom. The hotel staff was wonderful -- they always are. The hotel itself just wasn't, though. There was mold around the faucet of the bathroom sink. Hair in the bathroom. The floor underneath the tub felt like it was rotting. We've been staying at this place with our kids once or twice a year for the last 7 years (since before it was a La Quinta hotel). We've seen a definite decline in the quality of the hotel over time. Never return to this hotel again Location: This is a good area and surrounding. overall not happy place to stay within this hotel.

not impressed It was disappointing. The hotel was old & needs updated A.S.A.P. Scary to ride in the elevator & the breakfast was terrible!

Cheap prices and you get what you pay for! This hotel is in a good location but in need of a major renovation. That goes for inside the units and the exterior. My guess is it hasn’t seen anything new to update the rooms since the 80's. The motel 6 next door looked quite inviting compared to this La Quinta.

Denver downer I called the hotel two days prior to arrival to ask for early check-in and was told it would not be a problem. I had a 6am est flight - meaning I had to awake at 3:30am to shower, drive to the airport, etc. I arrived in Denver at 7am mountain time. I had a 2pm meeting and wanted to relax in my room for a few hours before my meetings. When I arrived at the hotel....at 11am, I was told that I had to wait until 1pm because 1pm was check in time. A hotel that has seen better days. We needed a place that would allow us to have our dog. The entire hotel needs a major updating and our room had huge dustballs on the carpet and was not cleaned very well. The continental breakfast area had food dumped on the counters and didn't have juice in the dispenser. Our family left without eating. We couldn't wait to leave and have no plans on returning.
