Clogged Drains, Funny Smells, and Fox News Pros: Low Room Rate. I guess you get what you pay for. Cons: See my "experience". My "non smoking room" smelled like a combo of smoke and a masking fragrance. Got a decent nights rest, but it took awhile to get used to the smell. Went down for breakfast. Poor selection of items, and FOX news on really loud in the breakfast room. I asked at the desk to turn it down and they said they could not. Went back to the room to take a shower...drain was clogged. Water up to my ankles. Meh....

Dirty and Dated First the room was a smoking room (booked non-smoking), second the room itself was pretty dirty. While the bathroom and bed linen were suitable the rest left a lot to be desired. Staff were friendly but the place was booked solid and they couldn't move me when requested.

Needs upgrade Pros: the price Cons: furniture, carpet, wall paper and paint, most everything could be updated Location: Didn't find any nice restaurants near the hotel All of the furniture are in shambles, carpet has stretched and is almost thread bare. Staff isn't friendly but do their job. Breakfast bar is okay if you like instant coffee and a mix of cheerios and raisin bran. No fruit

Hotel was dirty Pros: The game room. Pool area was large. Cons: Making the hotel cleaner and more updated. The room wasn't very clean. The hallways stunk and were dirty.

Not good experience Pros: Nothing Cons: Bed sheets replaced daily and overall face lift to hotel. Location: Garden of the gods, downtown Denver Black Hawk casinos etc. Room was not very inviting, carpet has snaggs all over, sheets are not changed daily, beds looked like they were made by a 5 year old and overall the hotel looks very unappealing.

Disappointed Pros: Decent gym machines-front desk girls very friendly Location: Location has easy access to freeway 1--we were put in a smoking room-disgusting--after booking a non-smoking room 2-better in the non smoking room but filthy dirty carpets, moldy shower curtains, moldy ceiling in bathroom, Not the level expected from reviews and personal contacts that frequently use this hotel chain-won't be booking here again.

Going downhill Pros: location Cons: the hotel needs renovation Location: shopping, business I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the past few years. It used to be OK, but is declining. Not a good value for the money. I don't plan to stay here again.

Awful Pros: Nothing Cons: Needs to be cleaned The hotel and room were filthy. The sofa bed was broken and they could not accommodate us. Bed spread has huge stain on it and the carpet was so nasty I would not take my shoes off. Thank goodness we got our money back and left. Do not stay here!

I will NOT stay here EVER again. I reserved a non-smoking room using Expedia. But, when we got there the smell of smoke was overpowering and the room was labeled as a smoking room. When I went to the front desk to explain my disappointment, all they could say was “I’m Sorry”. They did look to see if there was another room available, but they were sold out and it was the only room left. I even showed them the confirmation email received that stated I reserved a non-smoking room. Still “I’m Sorry” was the only response. On top... read more
