We checked into LaQuinta for a 3 day stay. The rooms were very small. The elevator was very slow and luckily we were on the second floor so we utilized the stairs. I had to work remotely so I had to use 2 small tables to fit my laptops and sit on the bed since there was no chair in the room. The bathroom was so small that there was no room for a toilet paper holder. I am on the heavy side so fitting in the shower was a bit challenging. I blew out my hair and caused a power outage in 3 rooms. The hotel could really use an u... read more
Disgusting. Do not stay here unless you must be right next to Central Park. The rooms, corridors and foyer are full of cleanliness and condition issues. The rooms are tiny and have zero natural light. The bathrooms are equally gross with excessive conditions issues. I was concerned for my health and personal safety. This motel should not pass the health and safety code if NYC enforces such efforts. Additionally, I made this room reservation through the Chase Credit Card travel portal site. My reservation was cancelled prior... read more
Visiting granddaughter at NYU! Stephanie was the most helpful and pleasant of all the staff at the front desk. Rooms disappointingly small, no fridge, microwave and no offer for either. Called the first day asking for another towel and bar of soap; no one appeared! Place needs attention! Lampshade broken and torn, sheets put on bed sideways and not enough towels. Breakfast was poorly cooked, overdone eggs and meats; yet grateful for Caroline, smiling attendant. At one point we believed someone not invited had been in our r... read more
A bit delayed review, but better late than never. We stayed here in easier December 2023. The rooms are super tiny and feel a bit worn. However, the front desk clerk (Stephanie I think) was great recommending places to see and was super helpful and accommodating with things we needed.
Despite other reviews of the staff and hotel my husband and I were treated well. Check in/Check out was good we had a king room which was plenty of space. Rooms are very close and walls are thin but our visit was fine. The view we had faced the back of buildings but its better than looking directly at a brick wall. I would have like to see a small refrigerator and microwave in the room for food you bring back from restaurants. -Parking on the street is only for certain hours. You can use Spot Hero or use the garage on West 7... read more
