The property was within walking distance of many of Austin's attractions and proximate to freeway. Valet parking was expensive and valet not always in position. Rather than anticipate consumables running short, management tended to wait for things to run out before taking any action. Some of the staff were sullen and gave the impression that customer service was a chore and they hated the job. Property was tired and in need of a refresh. Location was excellent. Room was large. Included breakfast was a bonus.

I enjoyed my stay very much I did not like that I had to pay for parking. If parking was free, everything would have been perfect. I liked the location of the hotel. I liked that it was next to the Capitol.
