Exceptional I tried peach jelly on my biscuit, and it was totally dried up. Couldn't penetrate it with my knife. Otherwise the food was good. We had plenty of light in our room--the first time I've ever had overhead lights in a hotel room. The room was spacious and well-organized.

Overnigfht near the San Jacinto Monument and Battleship TX State Parks. I have had to wait on the front-desk staff to return from attending to other guest problems at two different La Quinta Motels. This was a minor irritant to a road-weary traveler, but detracted from an otherwise excellent experience. The TV only had one channel available, but I was so tired I didn't really care! Great location Smokers hanging out by the front door of the hotel. My bath room smell like cigarettes the lady at the front desk took care of it. At times you could here the person above my room walking around. No sound board above:( Free breakfast, easy check in.
