A bed and a shuttle to the airport is what we needed…and what we got, though abruptly awakened in night, apparently due Staff disinterested (busy?). Layout confusing, trying to find elevator. Morning buffet inadequate, compared to other comparable hotels we have stayed in. Few choices. One towel had holes in it. Fire alarm at 2:45 AM apparently due to a leak. Out of room about an hour. Near DEN and had shuttle service. Daytime shuttle driver was very helpful. Room clean.
Fair We were a family of 5 located in the suite on the 4th floor that's been next to the elevator. The noise from the elevator starting and stopping most of the night did not allow for decent sleep. In the main room the coach we needed to use was so uncomfortable that one of us decided to spend the rest of the night on the armchair. The time for serving breakfast is very limited during the week (only between 6 to 8 AM). Shuttle to airport is a big plus.
We have stayed at other La Quinta locations and that it why we chose this hotel. Great location. I didn't realize we had to pay for parking. My room key didn't work nor did my daugther's key - I had to go down to reception and get help. There was not a proper door on the bathroom. The ice machine didn't work on my floor, or the floor below, so I had to go 2 floors down to get ice - our room was quite far from the elevators and I did use the stairs. Disappointing ! So basic, breakfast was extremely disappointing. Room didn't have the basic amenities Pretty close to the airport and pick up shuttle was convenient.
Would not recommend. Very run down. Mold in the showers, bathroom doors wouldn't close, the elevator was not working. Location to the airport. The lobby and breakfast location was nice and clean.
Disappointing
Selected hotel for the cheaper price & closeness to airport but not sure if I will stay here again. Upon arrival, the room entry cards did not work. I had to walk back and forth down the hallway and then take the elevator to communicate this with the front desk. After several attempts, I had to deal with the maintenance/repair person who wanted to take the new cards that were given to me by the front desk. In fact, he became aggressive.
