An Out of the Ordinary LaQuinta The breakfast was sparse. White bread, wheat bread and tiny banana bread cupcakes, yogurt and juice and coffee. That is continental breakfast, even for Covid. The building itself was gorgeous. The architecture is superb. The rooms were great, but the best part were the balconies. The lake view is wonderful, as is the view of the surrounding Hill Country. It was wonderful sitting outside, in November, watching the boats and then the sunset. This is a wonderful destination hotel.

It was peaceful and beautiful. No hot breakfast yet it’s still included in the price. The front desk staff was not very personable. The balcony facing the water

It's okay for where it is because the choices are few. The view of the river is nice, We have stayed there twice now and both times they have tried to charge us more than what we booked the room for. Also, they blame it on Booking.com. The next very odd thing that they do is that they have large rooms on the second floor and they name them different names.
