While the staff at La Quinta were friendly and helpful, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom, which I ended up cleaning myself. The shower leaked and the toilet ran as well. The floors needed vacuuming, and there were stains on the lampshades and box spring cover. Even the hallway floors were in need of attention. On the bright side, the bedding was clean and bug-free, and we were comfortable during our stay. I was surprised no bathroom vent fan. My husband and I had to leave bathroom door open to disperse steam moisture during showers. Also shower curtain would not stay closed.

Cheap rates a bit run down, served its purpose for one night before a cruise

The lobby and common areas were nice, but the room was dingy with furniture all in poor condition. Seems like the room was only lightly cleaned. I did not want to shower there. Although it is cheaper than others in the area so I guess you get what you pay for.

I dont understand all of the negative reviews on this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, with working air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The pool was nice, the only thing that wasn't that great was the hot tub. There was a mother with children that allowed them to jump in and out of it when people wanted to use it. In addition, the water wasn't hot at all. But other than that, i would stay here again.
