bare bones inexpensive lodging -- ADEQUATE at best The interior of the motel is worn and shabby; the mattress in our room was lumpy. The front desk and housekeeping staff here are GREAT -- top notch! -- the only bright spot to an otherwise dismal place.

Pleasant LaQuinta needs to accept that some people like to soak in the tub. I was not able to do that because of the nasty shower mat. Also, the toilet had to be flushed multiple times to accomplish the task.The breakfast options were nearly all high-carb, except for boiled eggs. A little more protein would be great. The facilities were generally clean, except for the substantial mildew under the shower mat, which was attached with adhesive to the tub bottom so it could not be removed except around the edges. Recent stay for family event This is an older property and it's starting to show it's age. You really don't see it until you're inside. On the floors that I went on, the carpets are stained and either need cleaning or replaced. The doors in the bathroom were painted different colors and the latch was broken but a quick fix was a simple cheap hook. Fair The facility needs some renovations or better up keep. The shower in our room was old and time for a facelift.The elevators were scary. They looked like they haven't been maintained in years. Also bring your own pillow because they smelled really bad. I guess you get what you pay for.
Totally fine, a good value. The coffee at breakfast is really bad. I think it's that liquid extract stuff mixed with hot water. Yuck. The room was good for the value. I would totally go back to this hotel again.
