Our visit to Rockwall was for a ENT visit for my husband. Second time to stay here this summer. Entrance has smoke odors from the guests smoking on the porch. Think that it would be better if smoking area was moved to side of building due to smoke entering the hotel when you open the door to enter. I did witness Monday morning employee picking up trash at the front of cigarette butts/empty ashes/etc. People sitting outside smoking not very attractive to hotel. Love the porch idea at the entry. A+ accommodations! No ice machine on the 2nd floir, first and third only. It's 100% non smoking. The staff was beyond helpful. The location is great, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The pool was great.

Awesome place to stay!!! The staff was absolutely amazing and the whole place was spotless. On top of being so close to restaurants , shopping etc.. This was our 1st stay at a La Quinta Inn and we will definitely be back. We were very pleased!
