A very pleasant stay. The staff, especially at the front desk. I liked sitting and reading by the pool.
Unpleasant hotel experience led to a great evening in San Antonio! My wife, puppy, and I visited San Antonio this weekend to visit with friends. In the early evening we found a large cockroach on the floor in the corner of the room. It appeared dead but started moving when I tried to throw it away. After killing and disposing of the roach, we opted to stay with our friends and avoid finding out if there were more roaches in the room. Great hotel! I wanted a small glass of milk at bedtime to take some pills. The evening desk clerk was willing to help me, but had no keys to the pantry. It would have been nice for the desk clerk to have access to pantry keys. Clean rooms and facility!! Staff courteous Nicely decorated. Good breakfast including a nice variety of foods and both hot and cold fare. Comfortable beds I would definitely stay there again.

Great place albeit overpriced. Ridiculously overpriced, like everything in Austin. At $500/night, it's insulting to try to up-sell me on the faster WiFi. A bag of cashews in the mini-bar was $15. There was no door to the shower and sink area - kind of weird. This may be because they had me stay in a handicap accessible room. Very nice hotel. Quiet. Nice river view. Valet was very efficient. Just a short walk to all the cool downtown spots.
